Chile & Antarctica As I Saw Them

With his love of travel and his latest trip to Chile and Antarctica, Hugh has now had the good fortune to have set foot on all seven continents. He hopes the slide slow presentation and discussion will encourage others to go after their own “bucket list” items, whatever your passions might be.

Born in Washington, D.C. to an Air Force family, Hugh has lived in Maine, North Dakota, Hawaii, Germany, Japan and Northern California. Receiving his Bachelor of Architecture from Cogswell College in San Francisco and his architectural state license in 1984, Hugh has called Marin home since 1977. Hugh has served as President of VMI architecture since 2012.

Hugh has been a member of the Rotary Club San Rafael Harbor since 2012, serving as Club President in 2016-2017. In addition to his Rotary involvement Hugh currently serves on the Board at Sanzuma whose mission is to increase the availability of freshly grown foods for the local community.
