Earth Day Litter Clean Up at Schoen Park

We will be participating in an Earth Day little clean up in conjunction with the San Rafael Mother's Club on Saturday April 20th from 9am to noon.  We are looking for volunteers to staff the sign in table, two people per hour between 9am and noon and people to participate in the litter clean up.  Please contact Mary Sackett if you are able to staff the table.

 For historical reference, San Rafael Harbor Rotary has been doing bi-annual litter clean up around Schoen Park and Pickleweed park for at least the past 5 years.  The progress we have made is amazing.  We used to need a dumpster for all of the garbage, we don't any more.  However, cigarette butts continue to be a big problem.  A problem that directly impacts the wildlife who call Richardson Bay home.
