General Meeting notes.
GREETER: Cindy Stameroff: Cindy is a tax accountant in San Anselmo and has over 30 years of experience. I use her now and she is reasonable and EXCELLENT!
She had two thoughts that dealt with taxes one of which was "doing taxes is like a laundry list. In both instances you lose your shirt."
TODAY IN HISTORY:
1865: The Congress of the Conferderate States of America adjourned for the last time.
1922: Gandhi was sentenced to six years in prison for civil disobedience in India. He served only two years.
1963: The U.S. Supreme Court handed down the Miranda decision concerning legal council for defendants.
1992: In a national referendum white South Africans voted overwhelmingly in favor of ending the racist policy of Apartheid.
GOOD NEWS:
Tom: Thursday is his granddaughter's birthday.
Hugh: It is New Year's week for Persians.
Bev: She signed a new listing and Wednesday is her son's birthday.
Aref: He spoke with us about Lebanon
Stacie: She told us about her birthday. She went out that night and the next day she went racing in Rohnert Park which she said was a lot of fun.

SAVE THE DATE: Susan's Innaguration will be on June 21st at Karl's home.
April 26 will be the health hub kick off. This is a partnership with Lift, Davidson, and Harbor Rotary. There will be a wide array of health activities and after this point there will be a food pantry once/week that we can all help out with.
THE DISTRICT TRAINING ASSEMBLY IS ON SATURDAY!!! SIGN UP BEFORE THE END OF TODAY.
SPEAKER: Stuart Moody. Stuart chaired the Zero Waste Citizens' Advisory Committee for Marin and was Green Schoolyard Coordinator at Davidson Middle School in San Rafael. He is currently enrolled in a graduate certificate program at the University of Arizona in Environmental Science and decision-making, through which he is working with the city's Director of Sustainability on a Climate Adaptation Plan.
