President's Message: Rescheduling Little Free Library build

We did not get to build our "Little Free Libraries" this past weekend, so we are sending a sign up sheet to reschedule.  Mary Dinday still is ready for us to enjoy her Terra LInda house for the build party.  Mary is one of Susan's friends who fits Carola's description to Kramer of why he should join us:  "(S)he is a Rotarian but just doesn't know it yet."  

 

When we reschedule, we will be at the cul-de-sac home of Mary Dinday, 23 Minor Court, San Rafael...which is at the peak of a hill off Tamarack.  Mary is the widow of Brian Dinday, the attorney who spoke to us about erasing arrests that did not lead to convictions from the records, back in 2009.  She is also an avid reader and a supporter of Little Free Libraries, and the oldest California friend of "El Presidente Susanna" (as Jeff has annointed me).   Power tools abound, but bring anything you can think of to help make the libraries personal...decorations you like, extra paint you might have, whatever you think might look good.  We will be building four or more.  Dogs and Burgers provided, but bring your drink of choice and feel free to thrown in a pot luck salad, veggie, or dessert.  And if you want to grill a steak or portabellas...feel free...but bring your own!
