Amateur historian Richard Torney will share Marin County's deep railroad history in this visual presentation. 

Mr. Torney is a fourth generation born in San Francisco, and a life long resident of Marin County. He attended A. E. Kent School, Redwood High and COM and served in the U S Army in Vietnam. He is currently a semi-retired remodeling contractor. As an amateur local historian, he is actively involved with the Kentfield Greenbrae Historical Society, Moya Library-Ross Historical Society, North Western Pacific RR Historical Society. He is also a docent at the Gravity Car Barn on Mt. Tamalpais.
